CromMarine® premium-quality decarbonizing gasket set for Volvo Penta:

This head gasket kit, also known as decarbonizing gasket kit, includes the head gasket with reference 859134, 838127. The cylinder head nuts with reference 463643 and the studs with reference 838065, should be replaced when needed[1], and tightening should be performed in three stages.
Tightening torque settings:
- First stage: 10 Nm (1 kpm) (7Lbft.)
- Second stage: 40 Nm (4 kpm) (29Lbft.)
- Third stage: 70 Nm (7 kpm) (50Lbft.).
Kindly check the second picture that provides the necessary instructions, directly quoted from the Volvo Penta workshop manual.
[1] The cylinder head bolts should be replaced when there are signs of elongation, or cannot be specified if it is already elongated, by checking the "waist" of the bolt.
